Fouse's Pavement Princess
« on: Jan 22, 2006 »
These are the only two pictures that I have the right size at the time. I will have to re-size some others.  I haven't done much to the exterior of mine.  Most of my mods are under the hood so that I can try to get this 4000 lb. hefer moving.  I can't believe how slow it is off the line.  I guess I will just have to buy a supercharger this summer.

Exterior:

Removed Z71 stickers (and all the dealership stickers too)
Billet Grill
Billet Bow Tie
Bug Guard
American Racing Phantom 20" wheels
Goodyear Eagle GT II rubber
Removed running boards
Black reflective AVALANCHE letters on cladding
Maglite mod (sort of exterior)
All four on high (really want all six if someone has easy instructions to do it)
Brembo drilled rotors

Under the Hood:

Edelbrock ceramic headers
New cats
MagnaFlow cat-back
Grenatelli mass air flow
K&N cold air intake
Flexlite dual electric fans
Hypertech re-programmer

Inside:

Phoenix Gold Amp
JL Audio stealth box
Cadillac gauges

By the way, the AV makes the best tailgating vehicle!  Love the built in cooler.  It gets a lot of use.

Karma to all you boys that like the truck!   :yourock:

I am actually thinking of going to a 23" version of the same wheel.  They don't make a 22" version or I would go to that one instead.  I think I will need to go a little lower to make it look right at 23" though.  We will see how the bump stops and shock extenders do that BD mentioned.  So, if anyone wants these 20" wheels let me know and I will holler when I upgrade this srping.  They are a little over a year old but are off in the winter.  We get a lot of snow here in KS which means salt.  Can't have that.  Plus the AV sits in the garage most of the time.  Anyway, just an idea.

I use X-TREEM metal polish.  It works awesome.  I usually clean the grime with simple green and water at a 50/50 mix, then I polish them with this stuff.
