Personally I always liked Bilstein...especially the stock shock made specifically for the Av...

THIS WELL KNOWN EBAY SELLER has had the same price with FREE SHIPPING for a long time for the OEM Bilstein shocks...

Several National club members have bought from them so far...with excellant results :thumb: :thumb:

Thanks for the link Cliff!  I called StylinConcepts about this shock and they say it's their latest line specifically for lower trucks.  I'm gonna give them a try.   :thumb:

I got the new shocks installed today   :woot:   I could tell an immediate difference in ride quality and handling.  It's stiffer yet more comfortable.  I guess the longer travel accounts for that even though it's a shorter shock.

Less noticeable roll on the turns and the AV seems a tad lower in the rear.  I've still yet to drive over bumps to see the difference there, but so far I'm liking it   :coolio:

The shocks definitely passed the bump test   :woot:  It used to squeak going over bumps and curve.  Not anymore.

The AV feels more sure footed now and definitely hugs the corners better with no roll.  At hard stops it does not rake forward at all.

I jumped on the back bumper and it snaps back without any bounce.  Hurt my knees   :needhug:
